Introduction:
Although moving to a new place is a daunting task for everyone, today I would like to take this opportunity to talk about a time when someone moved to a new environment.
Who is he/she?
She is my maternal aunt Rosy and her daughter Alex is my best friend.
What is the new place like?
Their new apartment is far away from the concrete structures, the traffic & the din and the city hustle and bustle. It is full of verdant greenery and dense foliage. Visiting this place, breathing in the fresh air, and listening to the loud chirping of birds is a welcome break for me from my daily mundane routine. Moreover, when I first visited this place, it felt like I was in a heaven of peace and tranquility. Every time I visit this place, it never fails to refresh and rejuvenate me.
Why did he/she move there?
They shifted because Alex wanted to do something beyond the conventional domain. She wanted to pursue a passion for outdoor activities that the city couldn’t offer. The mountains would provide endless opportunities for hiking, biking, and exploring nature which Alex has always loved but could only previously enjoy during her vacations.
And explain whether his or her migration has a positive impact on you?
This move was also a step towards a more mindful and balanced lifestyle. It brought a paradigm shift in her life and led her life towards an impressive growth trajectory, something that Alex had been yearning for from years. Other than that, the impact of Alex’s move on me has been surprisingly positive. It has opened my eyes to the possibility of life outside the city.
